Our Other Incredible
CCRew MEMBERS

Convicted Panthers Officials
The Convicted Panthers are the Officials of CCR.
We couldn't play roller derby without their rules, expertise and knowledge.
We hold regular training for new officials, both skating (referees) and non-skating (NSO's), and offer pathways for development and further learning. Officials fill many roles, ranging from refereeing, score keeping, penalty tracking, jam timing and more.
Head on over to our get involved page to find out more.

Game Commentators
We have a team of roller derby enthusiasts who take to the mic to keep our crowds entertained. They are captained by Mid West Hot Mess and Kid Cutty, who are always on the hunt for more people to join them.
If you are a derby enthusiast (or a quick learner prepared to become one) looking for a chance to entertain, inform, and excite a crowd, then let us know! You’ll be an energetic and charismatic host, engaging and guiding the crowd through all the action by delivering a beginner-friendly overview of the rules and game-play, with a focus on promoting both CCR’s sponsors and events calendar.
You’ll be supported and embraced by Tasmania’s top roller derby club and encouraged to make the role your own – let us know what you’d bring to the mic by registering your interest today here.

Our Resident Photographer
Liam Mitchell aka Big Cheese, has been snapping shots of our skaters and games since 2010.
His passion lies mainly in roller derby, but you can also find him clicking away at some of the skateboarding events around Tasmania. We love him!
Check out his incredible work on his Facebook or Instagram pages.

Convict City Junior Rollers
Our Convict City Junior Rollers are aged 5-17 and train in Hobart and Cygnet. The classes are held weekly during school terms.
Their coaches are highly skilled and play roller derby at a national level. Junior skating is suitable for both girls and boys.
Head on over to our get involved page to find out more about skating and non-skating opportunities for juniors.
