Trample & Eagle Bootcamps - Hobart

Lady Trample and Scald Eagle fly into Hobart for a series of skate clinics on the 1st and 2nd February. The clinics will be held at the Convicts home venue, C-Block at 83 Federal Street, North Hobart.

Friday 1 February

CLOSED session for Convict City Rollers

5.45 – 7.15 pm: GREEN skaters clinic
7.15 – 8.45 pm: GOLD skaters clinic

Saturday 2 February

OPEN session

Open to all skaters who are active members of a league and have up-to-date insurance and clearance to participate in the level they are registered for.

8.45 – 10.45 am: DEVILS clinic

This is a beginner session for skaters who have passed Intro to Derby (Fresh Meat) and can confidently stride, stop and have had experience with toe stop drills.

11 am – 12.30 pm: TIGERS clinic PART A

This is an intermediate/advanced session for skaters who have passed minimum skills and who have been cleared for bouting. You can confidently stride, stop, have experience on toe stops and can participate in contact drills.

12.30 – 12.45 pm: BREAK

12.45 – 2.30 pm: TIGERS clinic PART B

Trample and Eagle will take turns coaching different parts of each session. Topics covered will include backwards badassery, line work, juking, fancy footwork and dexterity, stopping on a dime, jumping and more!
