Junior Roller Derby
Junior Derby is on every Thursday 4 - 6pm at Woody's Skate in Glenorchy. Open to all kids from the age 7yo up to 17yo. If you or your kids are interested to join in please email RED HAXOR on redhaxor42@gmail.com

This June our convicts are being shackled and transported to Adelaide for punishment at the National Roller Derby Tournament (The Great Southern Slam).

The first Freshmeat Course for 2012 starts on Wed 1 February.
When 5:30 - 8pm on Wednesdays
Where Woody's Skate Centre, 12 Knoll St, Glenorchy
Bring $10 for the session and a drink (ie. water bottle)
Wear Comfortable clothes (no jeans) and good socks
Register your interest for Freshmeat by emailing our Freshmeat Co-ordinator at freshmeat@convictcityrollers.org.au
The Freshmeat course has two levels of skills and each is run over seven weeks with a comprehensive curriculum which will teach you basic derby skills, rules and safety (White level) and introduce contact, pack work and more advanced skills (Pink level).
Course cost is $30 (due week 2) and will be taken off your membership fees in full when you join.
Training cost per session is $10 and includes derby skate and safety gear if required, Woody's has all the gear to hire and to buy so ensure you are there by 5:30pm to get geared up or earlier if you want to check out buying your own gear.
Roller Derby is for both guys and gals - we need guys to Referee and doing the Freshmeat course is the best way to get into it. Gals are also very welcome to pursue Refereeing as well.
